The group of 10 left in a van from the church this morning and will leave Phoenix at 1:45pm. They will arrive in Dallas at 5pm and then leave for Miami at 6:45pm.
They will stay overnight in Miami and leave at 6:45am tomorrow morning for their destination, Port Au Prince, Haiti. They will arrive around 9am.
The first day in Haiti is usually spent getting acquainted with the surroundings, meeting the people in charge of the orphanage, the kids that live there, the "Nons" (who take care of the kids), and just settling in to make a plan for the week. They have a lot to do, so this will probably be one of the few days of rest they will have.
Please pray for the team and for the work they will do. Also, for the lives that will be affected while they are there. Because in the end, that is what their purpose is.
